Ægir is a drummer and experimental musician from Reykjavík. January 2020 saw the debut of his solo project, where he explores new sonic avenues; initially from behind the drum kit, lately using and abusing a wider variety of sound sources (voice and feedback play big roles), aided by a collection of sound-manipulating devices. He has released 8 solo albums over the last four years, each one a world of its own. Who knows what comes next?
